THANK YOU FOR JOINING US on JULY 13TH FOR THE 13TH ANNUAL
UTAH-CACHE GRAN FONDO
UTAH’S LARGEST GRAN FONDO & FUN RIDE FOR ALL
Fun and challenging distances for ANY CYCLIST.
You Choose: Ride 35, 50, 75, and 100-mile or Race 75-miles.
We are excited to get back to our roots of hosting Utah’s biggest Gran Fondo event, with distances and courses for everyone. We are also proud to again for the 5th-year be an official Gran Fondo National Series points event which also provides riders an opportunity to qualify for the USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships.
A true Gran Fondo format, immediately after our racers leave the start line area on the 75-mile course, all distances will be open to our recreational cyclists on our 35, 50, 75 and 100 mile courses throughout our spectacular mountain valley. All routes, with the exception of our Piccolo 35-mile course, offer a slight hill challenge followed my mostly flat sections on low-traffic roads.
All distances offer well-stocked support stations with real food from Lee’s Marketplace, Newton Market, Woodwards Country Store, and Thomas Market. Our nutrition and hydration sponsor, Hammer Nutrition will provide Hammer Gels, electrolytes, and Heed supplements at all rest stops. For the past 13 years Pepsi provides all the Pepsi products you can drink, including a fully-stocked Pepsi trailer at the finish line. We offer a light breakfast at the start-line, and a unique rider lunch where you chose your preference from one of 3 different local restaurants. Over 40 local and statewide sponsors also provide over $8000 worth of rider prizes and rider gifts, including Campchef stoves and outdoor cooking items, cycling items from Al’s Sporting Goods, Joyride Bikes & The Sportsman. Also high-end pillows from Malouf Sleep, and ARS always provides FatBoy ice cream sandwiches as you cross the finish.
We are also a USACycling sanctioned event, and provide insurance on all our registered riders.
35, 50, 75 and 100-mile courses
Compete to the level you want, and the distance you prefer to ride.
The Cache Gran Fondo offers 4 different distances, from a mostly-flat 35-mile course to a tough and challenging 100+ Century that tests even the most-experienced cyclists. Each is fully supported with aid stations and roving radio crews and law enforcement professionals.
The start and finish are easy to find, park, and relax before and after the event. And even though you are not racing, you still are eligible for hundreds of prizes, drawn randomly throughout the day.

Event Information
2024 Cache Gran Fondo is July 13th in Logan, Utah USA. Always the 2nd Saturday in July, the Cache Gran Fondo provides a mostly-flat course through one of northern Utah's best-kept cycling secrets, Cache Valley, Utah. Many riders register for their first century, the challenge of a half-century, a 35 or 76 mile route, or as a mid-summer training ride for bigger events like the Ultimate Challenge and LOTOJA (Logan to Jackson).
We are taking every precaution to keep our riders, volunteers and community safe during the event. A very important component to this plan is how our packet pick up is arranged on Thursday at Bountiful Bikes and on Friday at Al’s Sporting Goods.
Working with USACycling and our partners at the Gran Fondo National Series, we are following guidelines to keep contact to a minimum at a packet pick-up. Since 2020, the packet pick-up area will be set up in the center of the store. While face masks are no longer required, riders who are not vaccinated are encouraged to wear them in the stores and while off-bike in the support stations.
We encourage all riders to keep distanced (the signs on the floor will help), and move thru the area. We are also not pre-stuffing bags to cut down on the number of people who handle each item, so if you want some of the great offers on the table, please take one (hint: there are some great discount coupons to Al’s and other local shops).
PACKET PICK UP INFORMATION
With our two-day packet pick-up schedule, we are running packets to Bountiful and also in Logan. Our packet pick up times are as follows (note: Early riders on Friday can also get their packets at the START line on Friday am):
Thurs - 4-7 (Bountiful Bikes in Woods Cross)
Friday - 12-7 (Al’s Sport Goods in Logan, Utah)
Sat - 5-10 (Start Line at Green Canyon)
